Lucy Wood’s photography concentrates on the city and the countryside. She spends much time walking the streets of Central London, where many of her photos are concentrated. Her aim is to capture the light and people who live, work, and pass through the area.
Lucy’s varied career has taken her to most cities in the UK, and many across Europe. Outside of photography, she has worked for a dyslexia charity, rolling out a scheme making gyms inclusive for disabled people, helping people in deprived communities to set up businesses, as well as various charity, government, leadership, digital, leisure, and social enterprise roles. She currently spends her time split between consultancy work, as a personal trainer working with individuals with long term health conditions to improve the quality of their daily lives, and taking photographs. Lucy is a keen runner and can often be found running through the city and the hills of the Peak District National Park with her camera.
She is also the current Women’s World Stone Skimming Champion, a title she is has held for 4 out of the last 5 years.
